
Robert Wince Biography:
Born in rural Illinois, Wince grew up with an appreciation for the natural world. Mostly a self-taught artist, he began painting in oils as a child. After moving to Central Florida, Robert took various college art courses and workshops, but still retains his distinctive realist style of painting. He works mostly in acrylic now, but also enjoys using oil, watercolor and pastel. Wince can often be seen outdoors in national parks or quaint villages, painting on-site sketches. A former graphic artist and TV producer, Robert now devotes most of his time to painting and traveling. His paintings are an uplifting view of the natural beauty around us. They evoke an appreciation for the forces of nature and hopefully, encourages a desire to preserve those beautiful places.
