The painting, Lake County Orange Grove, won the prestigious "Community Award" at the 2012 Mount Dora Art Festival. The painting is 24" x 36" acrylic on canvas. It sold soon after at the outdoor show in Lakeland, Florida.
Award of Distinction
At the 2012 Artists Workshop Annual Members Show, held at Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach, my painting, "Canoeing on the Vezere" won a high-level award. The judge commented that you could see the river flowing with a bold use of blues in the foreground, and a "bull's eye" that really works (the canoe).
